Board packs
The calendar behind a usable board pack
Independent board reporting audit summaries only help if they arrive before the papers are bound. This page shows how we sequence a typical cycle around a Taiwan sitting.
Typical 10-day window
From intake to bound pages
Days 0–1
Intake and agenda fit
Confirm the sitting date, finance-committee slot, pack section order, and prior open actions. We identify whether a Board Reporting Audit Summary alone is enough or whether an Executive Review Pack should travel with it.
Days 2–5
Document review
We read the management close pack, trial-balance extracts, and supporting schedules. Material findings are drafted with residual-risk language suitable for minutes — not working-paper shorthand.
Days 6–7
Draft to finance
The draft summary circulates to the finance contact. Clarifying questions land here, while there is still time to adjust before committee papers freeze.
Days 8–9
Revision and readiness
One revision cycle after committee feedback. Optional Finance Committee Readiness Review annotates papers for the chair’s discussion order.
Day 10+
Final pages for binding
Final pack pages are delivered for inclusion in the board papers. If a findings walkthrough is still needed with management, it should already be scheduled earlier in the window.
