Refund and cancellation terms

These terms apply to paid engagements with Future Net Systems for board reporting audit summaries, executive review packs, finance-committee readiness reviews, and findings walkthroughs. Website fee ranges are informational; no checkout occurs on this site.

Eligibility

Refunds are considered when an engagement is cancelled before substantial work begins, or when we cancel because we cannot staff the reserved board-cycle window. “Substantial work” includes document review, draft summary preparation, or a conducted walkthrough session.

Timeframe to request

Refund requests should be emailed to [email protected] within 14 days of the cancellation notice or invoice date that gives rise to the claim.

Full and partial refunds

• Full refund of unused fees — if you cancel in writing more than ten working days before the reserved document-receipt date and no review has started; or if we cancel the engagement for staffing reasons.
• Partial refund — if work has started, fees for completed stages (intake, review days already performed, issued drafts) remain payable; unused later stages may be credited.

Non-refundable items

Booking deposits that secured a scarce pre-sitting window are non-refundable once the window begins, except where we cancel. Delivered final pack pages and completed walkthrough write-ups are non-refundable.

Process and timing

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days of approval and returned by the original payment method where possible, or by bank transfer to the invoiced entity.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a board-cycle window once without penalty if notice arrives at least seven working days before document receipt and the new date still allows a complete review. Later reschedules may incur a rebooking fee reflecting days already reserved.

Deposits, no-shows, and work already started

Failure to supply agreed documents by the receipt date may be treated as a client-side postponement. Days already spent on partial files remain chargeable. No-shows for scheduled findings walkthroughs forfeit the session day fee; write-up fees are not charged if the session did not occur.

Materials

We do not sell physical products. Client-supplied papers remain the client’s. Our draft and final digital pack pages already delivered are part of the engagement output and are not “returned” for refund.
